BONHAM DRUM SHOW 1st edition

For the 1st time in town, we were proud to present the Montreal’s version of the famous «Bonzo Bash» being held in California annually since 2005! Le Montréalais JUSTIN SALADINO (20 ans) baigne dans la musique depuis son plus jeune âge. Bénéficiant des leçons de guitare que lui donne son oncle, il arrive à jouer des pièces de Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan et Led Zeppelin alors qu'il n'a pas encore 10 ans. Par la suite, le jeune musicien forme le groupe Runaway Slide avec deux cousins. En 2007, il termine deuxième au concours de l'Étoile montante Galaxie de Radio-Canada au Festival international de blues de Tremblant. Après une période en solo, le virtuose forme le JUSTIN SALADINO BAND avec AJ Aboud à la batterie et Hans Blichert à la basse. Le trio donne dans le blues, le rock et le funk. En 2010, à l'âge de 16 ans, Saladino termine troisième au Grand Prix de Guitare de Montréal, dans la catégorie blues-rock. Le 1er EP ''Sometimes Called the Blues'' paraît en 2012. www.facebook.com/JustinSaladinoBand?fref=ts // Guitarist JUSTIN SALADINO (20 years old) was raised in Montréal in a musical family. Early on, he began taking guitar lessons from his uncle and by age 9 was playing tunes by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Led Zeppelin. Later, with two cousins, he formed the band Runaway Slide. In 2007, he placed second at the CBC Galaxie Rising Star Awards at the Tremblant International Blues Festival. After going solo, he formed the JUSTIN SALADINO BAND, with AJ Aboud (drums) and Hans Blichert (bass), performing blues, rock and funk. He was just 16 when he started turning heads at the 2010 Montreal Guitar Grand Prix, winning 3rd prize in the blues-rock category.
